Product Review: SHEBA® Entrées for Cats

Review of SHEBA Entree cat food Cats are notoriously picky about pretty much everything, including food. But sometimes, their owners are even pickier. Such is the case for this kitty mama when it comes to what I feed my cat. It can be so difficult to find food for people that is affordable, healthy, and sustainable, and I think it’s been even harder to find those options for my pets. Then I learned about SHEBA® Entrées for Cats.

So many cat foods these days are filled with corn, grains and gluten. Our poor kitty Haldir actually got quite sick as a kitten, when we tried a few of these brands for him. But the first ingredient in every SHEBA® Paté is meat; either beef, poultry, or seafood. Their cuts in gravy recipes all have broth as the first and meat as the second ingredient.

As a Hawaii transplant to the Seattle area, how can I not love seafood? I eat it all the time, and I want to make sure that the wonderful seafood available today, will still be around when my children are adults. That’s why I choose my seafood according to the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch recommendations. It says a lot to me when a company holds themselves to that same standard, especially a pet food company. SHEBA® seafood entrees are all made with responsibly sourced seafood and fish. That right there makes them my number one choice!

Affordable

As if the quality and sustainability wasn’t enough, the SHEBA® brand also throws in a money back guarantee. The makers of SHEBA® Entrées for Cats promises your cat is guaranteed to love it, or you get your money back.

Review of SHEBA Entree cat food Well my opinionated kitty was making me think I would have to put that guarantee to the test. Haldir was quite a bit stand offish when we first offered the SHEBA® food to him. He DOES NOT like wet food. Give him dry food, or even better, the dog’s dry food, and he’s happy. But knowing his personality, and that he will often show complete disinterest in something until we aren’t paying attention, I walked away and let it sit. An hour later, after furtively glancing around to make sure no one was watching, he sauntered over and explored the dish of Tuna Cuts Entree. Sure enough, he dove right in. He ate it all! Our little kitty is secretly a little piggy!

Review of SHEBA Entree cat food Oh cats. No one ever accused them of being people pleasers! Are your cats picky about their food? This program is sponsored by SHEBA® Brand and BlogHer, I was compensated for my writing but all opinions are my own.
