Healthy Cooking Classes in Auburn are Starting!

Yes it’s true, the classes are really here!  It was actually only a few days ago that the funding came through, so I made a mad dash to promote the classes at a recent job fair and had over 30 people sign up!  I’m so excited and our first class is going to be a fun one of meals ready in 20 minutes with 6 ingredients or less.

One of my favorite things about doing this is meeting people and hearing their stories.  I heard some incredible stories at a recent job fair (where I had a booth) of why people are wanting to learn to cook healthy, how they’ve been struggling to make ends meet and what food and cooking means in their family.

If you’d like to attend and haven’t signed up yet, please fill out my contact form and let me know what days you plan to attend.  There will be a class every Wednesday in June from 11am-1pm at the Auburn Valley YMCA.  Each class will be different and have its own tips, techniques and recipes.  See you there!
