Caption Contest and Baked Explorations Cookbook Giveaway

I get lots of cookbooks to review, and have amassed quite an assortment. Having cooked through many of them, I’ve decided that I need to start sharing this wonderful cookbook collection. While I’d love to just send each and every one of you a cookbook, I don’t quite have enough (yet!). So I’m doing giveaways!!!  To make it even more fun, I’m combining two giveaways into one post. The first giveaway is for the lovely cookbook “Baked Explorations” by Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito of BakedNYC.

If you like to bake, you NEED this cookbook. These guys represent brilliance in baking and their recipes are classics but often with clever twists. Baked Explorations contains over 75 new recipes with 40 color photos, tons of notes (their tips and tricks), and collected bits about the history of some of the baked goods they stumbled upon.

There are two different kinds of Mississippi Mud Pie, a Quick Skillet Snack Cake, Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars, and absolutely divine Grasshopper Bars. If you’re ever planning to make something for a dessert auction, this book is your guarantee for the highest bid!

Now, how to enter. I’ve been getting lots of great photos of Corban, but sometimes it’s the goofy ones that are my favorite. So I’ve decided that for any cookbook giveaways I do, I’ll make a caption contest. You don’t have to have the funniest or best caption to win, the winner of the cookbook will be drawn randomly. But, to encourage your creativity, I will be sending a coupon for a free Kerrygold product to the owner of the caption I like the best!
