Mom Friendly Places South of Seattle

These are three of my favorite mom friendly places in the Auburn area, south of Seattle | EatingRichly.com

Let me start this post with a big THANK YOU! I know it’s because of everyone’s wonderful support and votes that I made it to the top 15 in the Verity Mom competition. We will be having a meet and greet on Monday, and the judges will use that interview time, a money related blog post, and a video about mom friendly places, to determine the final three. If I am one of the three they choose, you will SO be hearing about it because I will be shouting it from the rooftops (or at least the blogosphere) asking everyone help me to win the job of my dreams.

In the meantime, here’s the video I submitted. I was so excited that the topic was on mom friendly places, because I have been on a quest to discover these gems ever since getting pregnant. It can be hard to find places where you don’t feel stares of scorn for every day things like breastfeeding, diaper changing, and crying. I meant the kids, but yes, sometimes I cry too. While I had a list of about 25 different ideas, the three I’m featuring are the ones that I’m actually spending time at this week.

Mosby Farms Pumpkin Patch and the Toddler Indoor Playground are right here in my city of Auburn, Washington. Just Between Friends sales happen all over Washington, actually all over the country! The Tacoma one (which really takes place in Puyallup, confusing I know) is the biggest one in Western Washington.

YouTube video

I REALLY enjoyed making this video, because I love connecting with and helping moms, as well as scouting out new places for mommy or family time. I definitely plan to make some more of these mom friendly location videos, so I would love to hear about your favorite spots.

Maybe it’s somewhere to take the kids, the whole family, or to get away with a girlfriend. Perhaps it’s the best consignment shop you’ve ever seen, or a secret hike you can’t believe you found. It can be in Seattle, the Puget Sound Area, or somewhere in another state, or country that I have to visit if I’m ever in your area!  Whatever it is, I’d love to check it out. Please share it with everyone in the comments on this post or on the youtube video.

Thanks for your support and encouragement, and stay tuned to find out if I make it into the top 3 for Verity Mom!
