Foodbuzz Food Blogger Festival Recap Day 1

I was so busy having fun the first day that I forgot to take many pictures, but here’s day 1 of the festival, and there will be tons from day 2 and 3!

Foodbuzz Festival cocktail party

Our Foodbuzz Food Blogger Festival started with a cocktail and pupu (those are appetizers for all of you not from Hawaii!) party out on the terrace of my hotel.  I loved the bacon and cream filled gruyere gourgeres!

San Francisco is a beautiful town, we had a great view of the bridge at sunset…

Next we went across the street to the Ferry Building where we had a smorgasbord of street food from several different vendors.  My favorite would have to be the fresh oysters from Hog Island Oyster Co which I stood around eating about 40 of!

After the official festivities were over for the night, several of us went to hang out at a cocktail lounge in the Ferry Building.  I was so tired I took one picture and then decided to head to my room.  On the far right is Pim of Chez Pim who I was so thrilled to finally meet.  She is a woman who knows what she wants when it comes to food and we all enjoyed watching her confidently order dish after dish (which she kindly shared with everyone).  On the far left is Ryan from Foodbuzz, it was so much fun to see her again!  I didn’t actually meet the two people in the middle because I left so soon, but Ryan told me they’re Denise of ChezUs and Zach of Midtown Lunch.
