Here’s a quick round up of some healthy easy snack options for Super Bowl food. My goal for Super Bowl recipes is basically to not need silverware. If I’m focused on the big game, I want to just be able to move my hand to my mouth without having to concentrate on a fork or spoon. I know, very cro-magnon of me! But I also don’t want to eat a ton of fattening chips, dips, little wieners, and other typical game foods that leave me feeling sick by the end of the fourth quarter. Each of these snacks are healthy, EASY, options for your Super Bowl party food.

Mozzarella tomato bites are so fresh and can be ready in under a minute! To reduce the mess factor, omit the oil and vinegar for a sprinkling of salt. Or even better…
serve it on a salt block! This is a great way to class up your party fare.
These deviled potato bites are a finger food version of potato salad. Each bite is tangy, smooth and packed with flavor.
Summer Rolls with Vietnamese Steak are popular with the guys for the rich and hearty steak, and popular with their wives for the health factor! They’re better for you than sandwiches and don’t make crumbs either 😉
Okay, I know, you need a couple things to eat with chips. Chips just go hand in hand with watching football! Homemade guacamole is a great option, the good fat in avocados is much better for you than most sour cream dips.
A nachos recipe is always handy for the Super Bowl, but my FAVORITE one is this chicken nacho recipe which has finely chopped bell peppers and onions so you’re getting some vegetables with your cheese and chips!
Taco Soup is hearty, meaty, and still good for you. Plus, you can just throw it in the crockpot the day before and not have to do any work on game day! Only 10 minutes or so of prep time.
Sure, you could just serve cookies for your Super Bowl dessert, but top them with whip cream and a berry coulis and everyone will be impressed!
Have fun on game day! Who are you rooting for?
What is shiso? Is there a substitute? Thanks! I’m thinking of making the steak. Great blog.
Hi Elsie, I assume you mean the steak with shiso scallion mashed potatoes? I explain what they are in that post. You could possibly use mint as a flavor substitute, but the large shiso leaves are the best for tempura frying. You can find them at an Asian grocer if there’s one near you.
I love your pictures of yourself. I’m a dork too so it makes me wish you lived closer so we could be dorky together.
Cute photos of you!! hehe… Good round up. I love those summer rolls and the guacamole. It ain’t a party without the guacamole.
Oh–you’re so cute! I’m not much of a football fan, but would love some of the Summer Rolls…Nachos are looking pretty good too…
LOVE the pics!!!!!!!!
Those pictures of you are beyond awesome! Such a fabulous roundup!!!
