round of fresh mozzarella
sheet of seaweed
Place a full sized circle of mozzarella on your plate for the bottom snowball.
Use a pair of scissors to cut out a smaller circle for the middle snowball. The excess pieces you snip off are perfect mommy snacks!
Snip four corners off of another slice of mozzarella to make a rounded diamond for Olaf's head. You may need to slightly round your edges so the head isn't too angular.
Cut an edge off of another mozzarella slice and then snip that edge in half to form two legs. Don't eat the bigger piece that's leftover yet, you'll need to snip off a little bit of it for Olaf's tooth and eyes.
Use your scissors to cut out three round buttons of seaweed, and a mouth shape as well.
Use the leftover piece of mozzarella (from his legs) to cut out a rectangular tooth and two circles for eyes.
Cut out two more small circles of seaweed for his eyeballs.
Use a knife to cut off an angular piece of carrot for Olaf's nose.
Put the two pretzel sticks in place for arms.
Finally, cut some very thin strips of seaweed to use for hair and eyebrows.
Approximate cost/serving: I only use about 1/5 of a package of mozzarella, so this adorable snack ends up costing me about 80 cents!
Vegetarian/Gluten free: This is meat free, but obviously contains dairy. For gluten free, use gluten free pretzel sticks
