Mason Jar Luminaries Christmas Centerpiece
During a planning session for the upcoming Cocoa and Cookies ladies’ event at our church, I thought about how many glass jars I have and wondered if I could use them to make a simple centerpiece. I wanted it to be fast and easy to make, and to keep the jars reusable since I use them for work and canning.
I did a quick Pinterest search, and loved the beautiful simplicity of these jars on Nelly Vintage Home.
I already had the jars and epsom salt (it’s super cheap at Costco!), so just needed the candles and decor. I found the twine, pine cones, and greenery on sale at the craft store, and was ready to get to work.
The video above was literally a shoot of my first one I made. It was SO easy! I found it took less than five minutes per jar, which meant my little one could even help me.
While these are specifically for party centerpieces, we will definitely be including them in our Christmas decor at home. I’ll line some up on the mantel, use a few together for a simple but elegant centerpiece, and place them throughout the room for a beautiful holiday glow.
